Who it is for
You manage a team and you are finding that technical skill no longer carries you. You were promoted without anyone teaching you to decide, to settle a conflict, or to deliver bad news. You lead in a setting where imported management models only half work.
What you will be able to do
Set a clear frame without crushing initiative. Carry a difficult conversation through to the end. Delegate a responsibility, not just a task. Decide when the information is missing. Handle a team conflict before it turns into a rupture. Align a team behind a direction you can explain. Recognise your own reflexes around power.
What you take away
A transformation plan for your own team, built during the programme, tested on the ground between sessions, with the first results measured.
How it runs
| Weeks | Objective | Deliverable |
|---|---|---|
| 1–3 | Locate yourself: what kind of leader are you today | 360 review with your team |
| 4–6 | Decide: weigh, choose, own it | Three real decisions, documented |
| 7–9 | Lead: difficult conversations and conflict | Real conversations held and analysed |
| 10–12 | Transform: carry a change through your organisation | Transformation plan and first results |
Format
Two in-person sessions a month, one-to-one support every fortnight, and a peer group between sessions.
Admission
Apply online, then an interview with a facilitator to frame your transformation objective. You must manage at least three people.
Frequently asked
Can I follow the programme without leaving my job? The format is built for that. Allow six hours a week.
Can my organisation enrol several managers? Yes, and beyond five people we would point you to Ubuntu Corporate instead.
